TWO DIFFERENT Pure Florida Fishing Camps are being offered Summer 2025.

Camp provides:

• • Life Jacket 

• Water
• Fishing license, rods, reels, bait and tackle
• Campers receive a dri-fit long sleeve fishing shirt
• Welcome bag with Pure Florida swag and other goodies from local attractions

Campers recommended to bring:

• Small cooler with snacks and other drinks
• Life Jacket if you have a personal one you prefer and is US Coast Guard Approved
• Sunscreen, sunglasses and hat

2025 Fishing Camp

Week One: Monday, June 2 through Thursday, June 5
Week Two: Monday, July 29 through Thursday, July 31

Camp Time: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Cost: $459 per camper; no sibling discount
Ages:  9 to 14 years old
Limited to 17 total Camp Participants

Each day presents new learning opportunities from working with live bait, understanding different fishing spots, weather, sonar, protecting our fisheries with respecting regulations and best practices to be a responsible angler. Campers will work with different lures, fish in different locations each day, and be able to learn in real time as they fish our waterways along with our experienced Captains leading the way.

Pure Florida Fishing Camp Goals

• 1. Boating Safety
  2. Understanding different casting and baiting techniques
  3. Understanding weather and it’s impacts
  4. Understand fishing regulations and the importance of protecting our fisheries
  5. Learn how to read the boat instruments
  6. Learn about different fishing spots

The four-day camp begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 12 p.m.  Gift certificate will be issued in case of heavy rain day cancellation.  We will do our best to give as much advance notice as possible.  Camp departs from historic Tin City docks each day located at 1200 5^th Ave S, Naples, FL 34102.

The cost of camp is $459 per student.  This cost includes everything camp related for each camper.  Campers receive a Dry-Fit long-sleeve fishing camp shirt and a welcome bag with gifts from southwest Florida attraction partners.  Campers are encouraged to bring their own lunch boxes with snacks, sandwiches along with a thermos of their refreshment of choice. Pure Florida will have complimentary water available each day.

Camp will be aboard M/V Naples Explorer and M/V Sea Flight. The open-air catamarans provide plenty of space for campers to fish, enjoy the outdoors and learn about our waterways and fisheries. Camp will be lead experienced fishing Captains ready to teach the next generation of anglers. There is a restroom on board both vessels.

Advanced 2025 Fishing Camp

Week One: Monday, June 9 through Thursday, June 12
Week Two: Monday, August 4 through Thursday, August 7

Cost: $625 per camper; no sibling discount
Ages:  8 to 14 years old
Limited to 6 total Camp Participants

Each day presents new learning opportunities to expand on key fishing knowledge and skills.   Campers will be in a personalized small group setting aboard M/V SEA FLIGHT II with experienced fishing Captains.  Each day will be in different locations and Thursday will be a treat with a 6-hour Deep Sea Fishing Trip taking the campers out 30+ miles offshore.

Advanced Fishing Camp Monday through Wednesday Goals:

1. Reading tides and understanding impact on fisheries
2. Boating safety & waterway expertise
3. Identifying fish species and measuring keepers
4. Seasonal catches
5. Casting for bait
6. Differentiating between inshore and offshore fishing techniques
7. Explore multiple fishing locations; docks, rocks, inshore waters and offshore spots.

Advanced Fishing Camp Thursday Goals:

1. Take all the learning from the week and put it to the test on an adventurous 6-hour deep sea fishing experience that takes your camper 30+ miles offshore in the Gulf.

The four-day camp begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 12 p.m Monday through Wednesday.  Thursday is a 6-hour deep sea trip which changes the time to 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Gift certificate will be issued in case of heavy rain day cancellation.  We will do our best to give as much advance notice as possible.  Camp departs from historic Tin City docks each day located at 1200 5^th Ave S, Naples, FL 34102.
